Per this performance turbo customer’s requirements, and based on our knowledge, experience, and years of understandings, we custom make a batch of 100 pcs GT30 dual ceramic ball bearing turbos, which were exported into US market for sale.
The customizations and others are:
Compressor side:
● Customer pay a half cost of the whole compressor housing casting die/mould, so as to cast a customer’s LOGO on the surface of the housings, MOQ 100 pcs
● Add anti-surge to the compressor housing bore, with anti-surge slots to be in line with compressor wheel’s splitter blades
● Machine compressor housing bore and R section(contour profile) to meet with larger compressor wheel
● Make and custom anodizing special color of the larger compressor wheel
Turbine side:
● Using our existing high A/R high flow turbine housing, no die/mould required.
● Porting the internal exhaust opening/hole (20% larger than the OE/STD) in the turbine housing (bypass, discharge hole), avoiding or eliminating boost creep.
**Boost creep is a condition of rising boost levels past what the predetermined level has been set at. Boost creep is caused by a fully opened Wastegate(s) not being able to flow enough exhaust to bypass the housing via the Wastegate(s) itself.
● Customize special wastegate flapper to suit the internal larger exhaust opening/hole (the OE/stock one will be stuck at the opening/hole, not good, so we customize it to suit)
● Special wastegate actuator connector, to suit customer’s special billet actuator
● Machine turbine housing bore and contour profile to meet with high flow 9 blades turbine wheel
● The high flow 9 blades turbine wheel was made with the right shaft spec. to meet with our own ball bearing system
Ball bearing system:
● Using our widely used / highly exported performance dual ceramic ball bearing system
● Well balanced on VSR
